The Board of Trustees and the Management Team at Calon y Fferi Community Centre would like to announce that its Centre Managers, Julia Amsbury and Simone Bizzell-Browning, will be moving on from their roles this Autumn to pursue new professional ventures and personal projects.

Julia and Simone have been integral to the growth, vibrancy and daily operations of the community centre. Due to their dedication Calon Y Fferi has strengthened its position as a vital local hub, successfully navigating complex challenges and delivering excellent services to our volunteers, visitors and the wider community.

Speaking on behalf of the Board of Trustees, James Greenwell stated: “We are incredibly grateful to Julia and Simone for their hard work, passion and the contributions they have made during their time with us. They leave Calon y Fferi in a fantastic position for the future. While we are sad to see them go, we wish them the very best in their next chapters.”

Julia and Simone added:
“Managing Calon y Fferi has been a deeply rewarding experience. We are immensely proud of what we have achieved alongside our wonderful team of volunteers, staff, and community members and cherish the community we have built together. We wish the centre, the Trustees and everyone involved continued success.”

The Trustees have commenced planning for a smooth transition period over the coming weeks to ensure continuity of services for the community.
