Broadside is an up-and-coming Welsh production company based in the heart of Carmarthenshire. Broadside started as a group of friends creating short films for fun, as teenagers. In 2017, we decided to create a short film every month of the year to show people what we were capable of.

Now adults, and still friends, we have moved into creating feature-length films. In 2019, we shot our first feature film for which we spent two weeks in Snowdon and three weeks in South Wales, including using our studio space here in Calon y Fferi, where we recreated and built a fake Snowdon summit, shooting the film ‘In Absentia’. On the back of this, we have managed to secure an even bigger budget to start filming a second feature film!
